Dr Chloe Germaine is a Reader in the Department of English at Manchester Metropolitan University and the co-director of the Manchester Game Centre. Chloe’s research is focused at the intersection of Game Studies, Environmental Humanities, and the Fantastic in literature and culture. Her work has been published in the journals, Analog Game Studies, Fantastika, Feminist Media Studies, Gothic Nature and Horror Studies.
Her recent books, The Dark Matter of Children’s ‘Fantastika’ Literature: Speculative Entanglements and Material Game Studies: A Philosophy of Analogue Play were both published by Bloomsbury.
